Cookies

One cookie, and nothing else.

Institut Solène sets the one session that keeps a member signed in, and states plainly that nothing else is set, sold or followed.

The one thing that is set

A single cookie keeps a signed-in member signed in as they move from the arrival room to the handbook and back. It carries a session and nothing else: no profile, no history, no identifier that could follow anyone to another site.

It is strictly necessary for the house to work at all. Without it a member would authenticate on every screen, which is neither safe nor usable. Because nothing beyond that is set, there is no consent banner to dismiss here.

What is never set

No advertising cookie. No third-party analytics. No tracking pixel, no social plug-in button, no cross-site identifier, no fingerprinting of a device, and nothing that reports a household’s reading back to anyone.

There is no arrangement with an advertiser, a broker or a network, so there is nothing to switch off and nothing to opt out of.

What the browser keeps

The browser may keep a small amount of state of its own: where the member had reached in a room, or a draft that had not been saved. That belongs to the browser, not to the record, and clearing it loses nothing the house holds.

Nothing in a household’s record depends on a cookie. A member who signs in from another device finds the whole house as it was left.

Checkout

When a tier is paid for, the member is taken to the payment provider’s own hosted checkout page. That page is theirs, sets its own cookies, and is governed by their notice rather than by this one. Card details are never entered here and never stored here.

Clearing them

Clearing cookies in the browser signs the member out and leaves the household’s record untouched. Signing in again restores the house exactly as it was, including the handbook, its history and the practice record.

In one paragraph, for the record

Institut Solène sets no advertising cookies and no third-party tracking, and sells nothing to anyone. What a session needs is what a session gets: the means to stay signed in to a household’s rooms. Analytics, where used, describe pages rather than people, and carry no personal record.
