Membership

Three states, three tiers, no monthly plan.

Institut Solène is bought for a household, not for a person. You begin as a visitor, pass through the Threshold without paying, and choose a tier once.

01

Visitor

No account. The public house is open: the home, the rooms as they are described, the seven voices, the six strands outlined, the studios explained, the city circles, this page, the questions and the legal pages. No member room opens.

02

The Threshold

An account, unpaid, and never expiring. It opens the arrival room, one sample lesson from the first strand, and a blank handbook to try. Everything else shows a quiet lock: “This room opens with a tier.” It exists so you can feel the house before you pay for it.

03

Member

A tier, chosen once. The Household for a year, or the Family Seat or Institut Circle for life. The household’s rooms open, and its record begins.

The tiers

Chosen once.

The Household

$490

per year

One household, opened for a year.

  • The six strands
  • The Generational Handbook
  • The Practice Room
  • The Protocol Library
  • The Letter Room

Renewal is annual and manual. We show you the date and send one reminder. We never charge a card automatically.

The Household — $490 a year

The Family Seat

$2,400

one time

Everything above, kept for life.

  • Everything in The Household, for life
  • Family Chapters
  • The Household Brief
  • The Family Year
  • The handbook archive

No renewal, ever.

The Family Seat — $2,400 once

The Institut Circle

$8,500

one time

Several households, or a family office.

  • Up to twelve households on one Circle
  • Private briefs
  • Priority on new strands
  • Everything in The Family Seat

One Circle, twelve households, one standard.

The Institut Circle — $8,500 once

Secure checkout through the institute’s payment provider. No monthly billing, ever.

There is no monthly billing anywhere in the institute. If you would rather pay monthly, the annual Household tier is the answer you are looking for.

The household

Who holds the key.

  • The Steward

The purchaser. Holds the billing, sees every room, and may invite up to six household members by email.

  • A Member

Sees the house’s content. A member does not change the standard.

  • A Guardian

Controls the Family Chapters. Records an age band on their own record, and delivers the chapters themselves, in their own words.

There are no minor accounts of any kind. An age band on the guardian’s own record is the absolute limit: no name, no photograph, no school, no measurement.

The household’s data is private to the household. It is exportable, and deletable, from the household ledger in Settings.

Before you choose

  • What the institute is not

Not a course, not a certificate, not a ranking, and never a verdict on a person.

  • What we will not invent

No titles, no lineage, no members, no events, no venues, no credentials.

  • Renewal

Annual and manual for the Household tier. We show the date and send one reminder; no card is charged automatically.

  • The record

Your handbook, your chapters, your year. Versioned, printable, and yours to take away.

Begin

Joining asks five things, and nothing more.

Your household’s name, your country, a household size band, whether family chapters are enabled, and which voice you would like to meet first. That creates the household, and the Threshold is open.

In one paragraph, for the record

Membership of Institut Solène is held by a household in one of three ways: The Household at $490 a year, renewed manually; The Family Seat at $2,400 once, kept for life; The Institut Circle at $8,500 once, for up to twelve households. There is no monthly plan and no automatic charge.
